The brief was to produce a new lead-generating website which would make clear to potential customers the variety of data services the new brand had to offer. The client's branding agency provided the designs and our role was to develop strategy, planning, prototyping, development and SEO migration.
The technical challenge
With a short time-frame to develop the website and content being produced alongside the development timeline, we facilitated a full UX workshop to identify user personas, develop customer journeys and card-sort a new information architecture in order for us to start the prototyping process.
These prototypes provided the foundations for a flexible page-builder solution which allows the client to produce their own pages in the future based on a variety of pre-defined structural blocks.
The website was built in the latest WordPress CMS with a custom page-builder which was built using the industry-standard ACF (Advanced Custom Fields) and tightly integrated into WordPress Gutenberg Editor. The result is a highly flexible and editable back-end administration panel.
A SEO redirect map was planned in order to maintain as much SEO value as possible from the two previous brand websites.
The result is a modern, clean solution which provides a platform for lead generation and supporting the brand activation plan.
